The confluence of smooth bend of Trubnaya Street and Bolshoy Sergiyevsky Lane steeply going up toSretenka Street is so spatially expressive that there is nothing else left for us to do but only to try not to destroythe existing state of affairs by new structure. Thinking of it drew the rounded side of the building following thetopography and the façade perforation with window openings running simultaneously horizontally and«uphill». Connections of the main volume with the ground through the socle which grew into the slope are akey moment of the composition showing extraordinary landscape features.

Our building was designed behind the House of Political Enlightenment which at that time seemed eternal, butlater was demolished. It teaches us that the architecture goes away, but the landscape remains.
