We have a virgin landscape of Machu Picchu in order to realize our ideas. No people and pristine mythical landscape are the real value of the site.
We consider necessary to minimize the visual human and architectural presence at such place. The invisibility, but not transparency – here is our criterion of the competition proposal. Therefore visible parts of architecture - only windows, «eyes» which give us an opportunity to look at a fascinating panorama of Machu Picchu.
Contemplation, observation, reflection are always individual, private and anonymous in character. All the restis the means and equipment providing this process.
Therefore 20 double guest rooms which are cut out in the body of Putukuzi rock with glass balconies, «eyes», are a main part of lodging from which one can observe magnificent sunrise over Machu Picchu ruins, behold the surrounding rocks, sky and .. loneliness.
