The design solution provides for creating a traditional settlement situated near Moscow which is built up with dachas, it is just the word that calls up familiar, warm associations connected with the childhood. It will be a place of our past - future, where we shall be other, and perhaps, better than we are.

 

In the project we would like to revive memories and the images of heroes of our childhood. These are, for example, J. F. Cooper's «Pathfinder»; «Timur and his team» by A. Gaidar - with feeling of «Military secret»;«The Forest Newspaper» by V. Bianki with traces of animals on forest glades and birds’ feeding troughs on trees; V. Nabokov with his nostalgic memories of the childhood, with fascinating bicycle travels and romantic appointments in park arbors; country lyrics by B. Pasternak and N. Zabolotsky; images of a country house in A. Tarkovsky's movies «Mirror» and «Solaris».
