The project of the mixed-use complex presupposes the mode of adaptive reconstruction of historical estate and recovery of development along Turchaninov Lane and erection of new volume in the depth of the site in the second line of development. The project fixed historical borders of the estate, formed a pedestrian zone to the west from the site and intrablock passage to the north instead of the lost lane. The building includes underground parking and offices.

 

Two volumes located on the frontal line of Turchaninov Lane have the character and scale of historical development and support the height of historical building of the Russian Folklore Center. The main volume of the various-height complex is placed on upper terrace of the relief in the second line of development of the lane. In general the building is a transitional element from one-two-storey buildings on the frontal line of the lane to 5-6-storey buildings standing in the depth of the block and supports the main compositional axes of the block, and also emphasizes the natural relief fold. The underground part of the building contains a four-level parking and the ground floor with an office room, cafe, car service with technical rooms. Available functions make the complex completely self-sufficient.
